Our map case is made from 400 denier nylon with a heavy vinyl front face. Our map case is made large enough to really give you a good full day’s worth of paddling without having to refold the map or flip it over. The top flap of the map case closes with hook and loop and two adjustable cinch straps allow the map to easily attach to a thwart.

Usually my (waterproof) map sits on the floor of the canoe in front of me so I can keep constant watch on our location as we progress. The problem is that the wind blows the loose map around, and I need to stow it when portaging. The case solves both of those problems plus it provides a place for my compass and a place to clip my GPS. Well done!
