Absolutely loved this pack. I used the granite gear pack for years and this is my new favorite pack. What I really loved about this pack was the mesh pocket in the front. I kept a rain coat, snacks and map, and anything else I needed to grab quickly while on the water without having to open up the whole bag.

I love the handles and front mesh pocket for ease of use. I love the backpack and waist straps for solid, adjustable support that’s mounted at the perfect height so they don’t get in the way of the yoke on a carry. But what I really appreciate is the ability to load it up and then sinch the sides to lower the draft or snug the flap straps to shorten it’s footprint in the canoe. Versatile, durable, practical; what more could you ask for?!
